Born 1971 in Germany
M.A. Art and Art History Bamberg /Munic 1992-1998 (Friedrich-Maximilians University of Munic)
Since 1995, I have been creating large-format, abstract canvas Oil and Acrylic- paintings, and collages on paper. I pursued my studies in art education and art in Munich, Bavaria. My primary fascination has always been with artists from classical modernism, including Impressionism, Expressionism, Fauvism, and DADA. This interest deepened during my time as a museum educator in the Munich art area, Kunstareal. Influential artists like Joseph Beuys have significantly shaped my thinking and my approach to art.
Art serves as a reflection of societal evolution. Society relies on art, and art finds its true value when it is connected to the collective whole. Engaging in dialogue with art enables us to better comprehend human nature.
My passion for abstract painting has remained unwavering for three decades. I view art as a form of social sculpture, and in my role as an artist, I contribute to the collective consciousness—a deeply fulfilling endeavor. Over the past few decades, it has been of paramount importance for me to work in my studio and immerse myself in the creative process.
